Cookie Policy

Last updated: 06/11/2026

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used on kaiamanzi.co.za by Kaia Manzi Estates Pty Ltd, operating Kaia Manzi Resort. It supports our Privacy Notice and South African POPIA obligations.

Your cookie choice

Necessary technologies support the website and security. Optional statistics and marketing technologies are not required to make a booking enquiry. Use the cookie banner to accept all, reject optional cookies or save your preferences. Closing or ignoring the banner does not grant permission for optional tracking. You can reopen cookie preferences using the “Manage consent” tab and change your choice later.

What the categories mean

Necessary: consent-preference records (usually named cmplz_*), security and form protections, and WordPress authentication cookies for users who sign in. These support the service or remember your choice.

Statistics: Google Analytics 4 uses identifiers, such as _ga and _ga_*, to measure visits and interactions when enabled by your choice. Analytics can process device and browser information, page activity and approximate location. Google may process this information internationally. It is not necessary for sending an enquiry.

Marketing and external services: external or embedded services may use their own identifiers. Where optional embedded content is blocked, enable it only if you want to use that service. Selecting a Facebook or WhatsApp link opens that provider’s service, which has its own privacy and cookie rules.

How long cookies remain

Some cookies end when you close your browser; others remain until their expiry or until you delete them. Consent choices are retained for the period configured by the consent tool and may be requested again when the policy changes or the preference expires. Analytics expiry depends on Google’s configuration. Your browser’s site-data controls show the cookies and expiry dates actually stored on your device.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use “Manage consent” to update your saved preferences. Withdrawing optional consent stops future activation through the consent tool; it does not undo earlier processing. You can also delete existing cookies and block them through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may affect forms, sign-in or the ability to remember your choice. Choices apply to the browser and device you use and may need to be repeated on another device.
